Photos: Petah Tikvah--Houston's sister city

We visited Petah Tikvah, a community mainly made up of new immigrants to Israel from Europe, including Russia, and Ethiopia. This community was partially funded by Jewish organizations in the Houston area, as was memorialized in a community center we visited. Lunch with the mayor, Yitzhak Ohayon, shown with delegate Dan Gordon, was in a Japanese restaurant.
