Welcome to the journal

The Houston Anti-Defamation League created its Coalition for Mutual Respect in 1997.

To further advance interfaith respect and understanding, the Coalition is sending a Mission to Israel, composed of clergy, laypeople of faith, and academic scholars, mainly from the Houston metropolitan area. The delegation will visit holy sites of several different faiths, and discuss their significance with religious, government, and civic leaders in the area.

The plan for this blog is that it be a place where delegation members may post their thoughts, experiences, reflections, photographs, and announcements. Any delegation member who wishes to be added to the “contributors” list needs only to contact the moderator, Paul Roby, and be emailed the invitation that starts the sign-up process.
